How to Use the Power of Your Mind to Access Your Feminine Flow When You’ve Been in Hustle Mode for Years
Go back in time with me for a second.
Before the career. Before the responsibilities. Before you learned how to code-switch in a boardroom or shrink yourself in a meeting so the men wouldn’t feel threatened.
Wayyyy before that.
Picture her.
She’s three, maybe four years old. Twirling in the backyard in a dress that’s already got grass stains on it. Singing at the top of her lungs — a song she made up, because why not. She’s got an imaginary best friend named something like Rosie or Star, and Rosie is sitting right there at the tea party, obviously, and they have very important things to discuss.
She laughs out loud without thinking about it. Plays in the rain because it feels good. Talks to her dolls like they’re listening. Chases butterfliers because she’s curious. Dances in the grocery store because the song is good and her body just moves.
She is completely, utterly, 100% herself.
No filter. No performance. Not one thought about who’s watching or what they think.
She is magnetic in the purest sense — confident, lit from within, fully embodied, trusting herself completely.
That little girl was you, wasn’t she.
And somewhere along the way, you got so far from her — further than you even realized, didn’t you.
What Happened
It didn’t happen all at once. It never does.
It happened in moments. Small ones, mostly. But they added up.
It happened the first time a teacher told you to sit still and stop fidgeting. The first time you were told you were “too loud” or “too much.” The first time you noticed that the quiet girls got more approval. The first time you shrunk yourself and it worked — someone smiled, someone approved, someone didn’t leave.
And you filed that away, didn’t you.
It happened when boys started paying attention and suddenly the body you spent your whole life in till that point always had something wrong with it. And from that day on – you never thin enough, pretty enough, smart enough, good enough.
It happened when your mom or your teacher said something – maybe not even meaning to – that made you look at yourself differently in the mirror.
It happened in college, when you figured out that being taken seriously meant being serious. That being smart looked a certain way. That being soft was a liability. That you needed to be stronger, sharper, more like them (the men) to earn your place at the table.
And then your heart got broken — really broken — and you decided that softness was dangerous. That vulnerability got you hurt. That the safest thing was to need less, feel less, show less.
And then it happened at work. The first job you had where you felt the need to dress a certain way, sound a certain way to seem older than you were – to get promoted, to be taken seriously. Where you watched what happened to the women who were “too emotional.” Where you learned to hold it together in meetings and fall apart in your car. Where ambition required a kind of armor that you put on every single morning and forgot to take off. Where you watched the guy who was less smart and less hardworking than you get promoted over you. Again. And again. And again.
In all of it – you learned to dampen your opinions. To fall in line. To edit yourself before you even spoke.
In all of it – You lost your freeness. Your trust in your own instincts. Your play.
You became serious. Productive. Capable. Reliable. Strong.
But you also became hyperindependant. You became the do-er…no, the over-doer. The over-achiever. The strong friend and daughter.
You became the woman who gets everything done.
And the little girl twirling in the backyard? She got buried. Not gone — buried. Deep in your subconscious, holding everything she always knew about you.
The question is — are you ready to go back and get her?
The Neuroscience Behind Why This Happens
Here’s something most people don’t know about the human mind.
Until eight years old, your conscious mind – the critical, analytical, filtering part of your brain – hasn’t fully developed yet. Before that, you operate entirely from your subconscious. You take everything in like a sponge. Every experience, every emotion, every message about who you are and how the world works gets absorbed directly, without a filter.
Think about it — someone told that little girl that Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, and monsters under the bed were all real. And she believed every word. Because she was pure imagination, pure receptivity, pure subconscious. She couldn’t not believe it.
That’s why those early years shape everything.
But after around eight years old, the conscious mind comes online. And with it comes judgment. Comparison. Self-editing. The voice that says wait, is this okay? Will they accept me? Am I too much? What did I do wrong? Are they going to leave me?
And all those experiences — the teacher, the boys, your mom, the heartbreak, the workplace — got stored. In your subconscious. Running quietly in the background like hardcoded programming. Shaping the way you move, the way you speak, the way you show up — without you even knowing it.
Fast forward to today. You’re a high-achieving woman in your thirties or forties, having spent decades running old subconscious programs that were written for a little girl trying to stay safe. Programs like: earn your place. Softness is weakness. Don’t need too much. Stay in control.
Here’s where it gets really fascinating.
Your brain has a system in it called the Reticular Activating System — your RAS. It’s a filter that decides what information you notice and what you ignore. And it’s programmed entirely by your subconscious beliefs.
If your subconscious believes softness is weak, your RAS will find evidence for that everywhere. Every time vulnerability didn’t work. Every time you had to be tough to survive. It filters out all the evidence to the contrary — and keeps feeding the old story.
Which means you could want feminine flow with every conscious cell in your body, and your RAS will keep steering you right back to hustle mode.
Until you change the program at the Root.
The Woman Who Reminded Me What’s Possible
I want to tell you about a woman I once worked with who changed the way I understood all of this.
She was my boss. She led our marketing team at a Fortune 500 Company. Successful by every measure of the word. But what struck me wasn’t her resume — it was the way she was so good at influencing people.
She wasn’t the loudest. She didn’t push. She didn’t perform.
She was simply magnetic. She’d walk into a meeting and the energy would shift – you could feel it. When she spoke, you listened. You genuinely wanted to help her, not because she demanded it, but because she simply drew you in.
She was warm. Confident. Completely herself. And she never once abandoned her opinions or her ambition.
She was soft and powerful. And to this day, she is the most effective person I have ever worked alongside
She was that little girl, all grown up — and she’d never let the world take her from herself.
That is what feminine energy in success actually looks like. And doesn’t some part of you already know that’s available to you too?
How to Use the Power of Your Mind to Become Your Most Magnetic Self
This is the part nobody talks about.
You cannot think your way into feminine flow. You cannot willpower your way there. You cannot force yourself into soft power.
Because the blocks are subconscious – and the doorway back is subconscious too.
This is exactly the work I do with women – reprogramming the mind at the root, where the conditioning actually lives. And here is what I have found deeply works:
Feminine Flow Embodiment Hypnosis
In a hypnotic state, your brainwaves slow from the busy, analytical beta frequency of everyday thinking down to alpha and theta — the same frequencies you were operating from as a small child. In this state, your conscious mind quiets. Your subconscious becomes open and receptive.
We dissolve the old conditioning and restore your natural access to ease, play, and feminine power. Women say: “I felt like myself again for the first time in years.”
EFT Tapping and Mirror Work
Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT Tapping uses light tapping on specific acupressure points while you focus on a belief or emotion. It sends a direct safety signal to your nervous system — physiologically dissolving the emotional charge stored in the body from years of conditioning. Paired with mirror work, it begins to rebuild the relationship with the woman in the reflection.
Breathwork
Your breath is the fastest direct line to your nervous system.
When you’ve been in hustle mode for years, your breathing is shallow, rapid, chest-centered. Your body is in a constant low-level state of alert. You are physiologically incapable of accessing feminine flow in this state.
Using conscious intentional breath patterns you can start to quickly move energy, release stored emotion, and shift your nervous system moving from activated to open, soft, and embodied in a single session.
Somatic Movement and Feminine Dance Flow
This is where the little girl comes back online. Moving without a goal. Without optimizing anything. Just moving because you’re alive and it feels good. This is where you remember your body is not just a vehicle for your productivity.
That little girl is wise, sensual, playful, and powerful – and she has been waiting for you to come back and let her move.
She’s Not Gone. She’s Waiting.
The girl who laughed out loud without thinking. Who played in the rain. Who sang without caring who heard. Who trusted herself completely before the world taught her not to.
She’s in there.
In your subconscious. Underneath the armor. Underneath the conditioning. Underneath everything you learned about who you have to be to be taken seriously as a leader.
And when you come back to her — when you use the power of your own mind to dissolve what was layered over her — you become the woman in the room whose energy shifts things without effort. Who leads without pushing. Who is warm and soft and utterly, powerfully magnetic.
Not less ambitious. Not less capable.
But more yourself than you have been in years.
And it was always, always yours — wasn’t it.
