Retreat Summary
A girls’ trip with better conversations, workouts I actually do, really good food, beach, spa, and a group of women who want to feel really good for the next part of their lives.
You do not need another weekend where somebody talks at you for six hours and sends you home with a notebook full of shit you will never do. That is not what this is.
I’m Kathy Wieliczko. I’ve been a nurse for 30 years and a nurse practitioner for 27, I’ve been married for 29 years, and I’m mom to two sons, ages 22 and 24. In 2017, at 46, I went through menopause and was dismissed by my own trusted healthcare provider, and then by several others after that. Even as a nurse practitioner, I was left without answers for my own body. I dealt with weight gain, loss of libido, and a real decline in my quality of life. That’s exactly why I’m doing this.
I want to bring a small group of women together for a few really good days in Punta Cana. We will walk. We will work out. We will eat really good food. We will sit on the beach. We will go to the spa. We will have the conversations women our age are actually having with their girlfriends behind closed doors: menopause, HRT, weight gain, strength, sleep, marriage, intimacy, energy, and why taking care of yourself somehow gets harder when life gets busier.
And then we will also laugh, drink coffee, have dinner, sit by the pool, and do absolutely nothing when we feel like doing absolutely nothing.
I do not want this to feel like a conference. I want it to feel like you finally got a few days with women who get it. And when you leave, I want you to feel rested, clear, motivated, and like you actually know what you want to do differently when you get home.
The Vibe
Small. Relaxed. Beautiful. A little bougie. Very real.
You are not waking up to a whistle and bootcamp. You are not sitting in a ballroom listening to presentations all day. We will move our bodies because that is what I actually do, and we will talk because there is a lot women in this season want to talk about. And there will be plenty of time where nobody needs anything from you. That part matters too.
Is This Retreat For You?
This is probably for you if:
You don’t need to have it figured out. You don’t even need to know what “it” is yet.. You just need to be honest that the way you’ve been doing things isn’t cutting it anymore.”
Meet Kathy Wieliczko
I’m Kathy Wieliczko, APN. Nurse for 30 years, nurse practitioner for 27, married 29 years, and mom to two sons, ages 22 and 24.
In 2017, at 46, I went through menopause and was dismissed by my own trusted healthcare provider and by several others after that. As a nurse practitioner myself, it left me without answers for my own body. I dealt with weight gain, loss of libido, and a significant decline in my quality of life.
In 2020, I started hormone replacement therapy. It took years of trial and error, but I eventually lost over 20 pounds and got my health and energy back.
Now I help other women navigate midlife and menopause with the answers I couldn’t find for myself.

What You Will Walk Away With
- Get insights on what is happening to your body
- A strength routine you’ll actually keep doing at home
- Straight talk on HRT you can bring straight to your next doctor’s appointment
- Permission to talk about libido, marriage, and midlife out loud
- A few women who now text you back
- A few days of actually resting, not “relaxing” on a schedule
Your midLIFEinspo Experience
Four days, built around movement, real talk, and enough downtime that nobody's watching the clock. (Loose by design — there's no whistle, and nobody's checking a schedule every 20 minutes.)
Day 1 — Nov 12; Arrive
| 4:00 PM | Arrival + Check-In Settle into your suite, unpack, exhale. |
| 6:00 PM | Welcome Dinner A relaxed first meal together, no name tags, no icebreakers, just food and getting to know the room. |
Focus: Arrive as you are. No heavy stuff on night one.
Day 2 — Nov 13; Feel Good
| Morning | A slow morning, coffee, breakfast, protein shakes if you want them, and time to actually wake up. Later on: a beach walk together, then a workout with Kathy. This should feel like the kind of workout Kathy actually does, not a resort fitness class. |
| Late Morning / Early Afternoon | Brunch together, then one main group conversation: what changed in midlife, and what are we actually doing about it? Menopause, HRT, stubborn fat, energy, muscle, sleep, body changes conversation, not a lecture. |
| Afternoon | Completely free. Beach. Pool. Spa. Nap. Read. Do nothing. Whatever sounds good. |
| Evening | Dinner together, no formal session. If conversation naturally turns to marriage, intimacy, hormones, aging, or anything else, great. Let it happen naturally. |
Day 3 — Nov 14; Take It Home
| Morning | Another slow morning coffee, breakfast, no rushing. Later on: a beach walk, then a workout with Kathy. |
| Late Morning / Early Afternoon | Brunch together, then one main conversation: how do we actually make this work when we go home? Work. Family. Travel. Sleep. Strength. Food. Marriage. Time. Consistency. What keeps falling apart, and what you realistically want to change. Less teaching, more talking through what actually gets in the way. |
| Afternoon | Free time. Beach, pool, spa, nap, or optional one-on-one time with Kathy. |
| Late Afternoon / Early Evening | Something fun before dinner sunset drinks, beach happy hour, photos, music. Something that feels like a girls' trip, not another scheduled session. |
| Evening | Final dinner together. Relaxed and social — no formal presentation. |
Focus: Turn what you learned yesterday into what you’ll actually do at home.
Day 4 — Nov 15; Leave Connected
| Morning | Slow coffee and breakfast. Optional walk if you want one - no workout required. |
| Late Morning | A short closing conversation: what are you actually taking home with you? Each woman leaves with a few simple things she wants to keep doing not 25 goals, not a giant plan, just what she knows she can realistically carry home. Then Kathy introduces the private accountability group, so the retreat doesn't end when everyone gets on a plane. |
| Brunch | Farewell brunch together. Then departures. |
Focus: Leave with a plan you’ll actually keep, not just a tan.
The Overall Feel
The schedule should feel loose enough that nobody’s checking the time every 20 minutes — enough structure to make the weekend meaningful, with enough space that it still feels like a vacation.
Built around good food, movement, beach, spa, rest, laughing, and really good conversations. Not a packed agenda. Not lectures. Not a wellness conference with prettier scenery.
The goal: women leave thinking that was fun, I feel really good, I learned a lot without feeling like I was in class, and I actually want to keep doing some of this when I get home.
What's Included
- Daily beach walk and strength workout, led by Kathy

Why I'm Doing This
I have been a nurse practitioner for 27 years. And menopause still blindsided me.
In 2017, I went to a provider I trusted because I knew something had changed. I was dismissed. Then I was dismissed again. I eventually found my way to hormone replacement therapy in 2020, and it made a huge difference in how I felt.
But it did not magically fix everything. I still had stubborn fat to lose. I still had to figure out how I wanted to eat, train, sleep, and take care of myself in a body that was not responding the way it had in my 30s. A lot of that came from trial and error.
Over the last several years, I have had hundreds of conversations with women who are asking the same questions I was. That is really why I want to do this retreat. Not because I have every answer. Because I know how much easier it is to figure this stuff out when you are not doing it alone.

What We'll Actually Talk About
Not lectures. Conversations — the things I already talk about with women every day.
- How to get stronger without living in the gym
- What HRT helped me with, and what it didn’t
- Why menopause fat loss felt so different for me
- How to make health fit into an actual busy life
- Sleep, protein, walking, strength
- Marriage after decades together, and intimacy
- Feeling good in your body again
- What we’re doing now because we want to feel really damn good in our 60s, 70s, and beyond
And probably a bunch of conversations I can’t predict yet put 15 women together for four days and something good is going to happen.
